Most research on music performance anxiety (MPA) has traditionally focused on orchestral, choral, and jazz musicians and students. Studies have found that MPA can be adaptive and beneficial for performance, or maladaptive and detrimental to the performance. The aim of this study was to explore DJs experiences of MPA, as DJs have been an underrepresented cohort in academic literature.
