Click and Cure: A Novel Way To Improve Therapeutics

Our research looks to increase the healing properties of our own bodies by enhancing immune response. We aim to do this by adding specifically tailored and helpful decorations to immunity boosting proteins, in an attempt to maximise our bodies defence against sickness.

Increasing Bioavailability of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API's) by use of Ionic Liquids

Patrick Keady (PhD Student, University College Dublin)

I will talk about my research which improves drug performance by turning them into ionic liquids and then encapsulating them in a polymer. This leads to improved drug characteristics.

Generative Detection of Degenerate Conversations

Erik Miehling (Research Scientist, IBM Research)

What does it mean for a conversation to go off-the-rails? How do we design a model to detect such degradation? I'll discuss some of our ongoing work in using language models to evaluate other language models.
