Amy Hassett
(PhD student)
At this special meeting of Wexford Science Café, held during the country-wide Pint of Science Festival, Amy Hassett will be speaking about her research in neuroscience, her work as a presenter of a science programme on RTÉ Junior, and her advocacy on behalf of women with disabilities.
Brought up in Broadway, south Wexford, Amy Hassett attended school in Wexford town. She has a BSc in Physiology and MSc in Neuroscience from UCD. She is currently studying at UCD for a PhD in neuroscience, investigating aspects of the structures and organisational principles of nerve networks.
